Annanough 3-16 Killeshin 0-6
ACFL Division 4 Round 2

Annanough collected their first win in Division 4 in fine style at home to Killeshin this evening.

This was a Junior A team against a Junior B side and the gulf showed as Annanough ran out 19 point winners in the end.

Two first half goals from Fergal Scully laid the foundation as Annanough led 2-8 to 0-3 at half time.

Jake Darcy, Damien McCaul, Killian Horgan and Elliott Scully all got good points in first half too.

Veteran Cathal Brennan led the line for Killeshin and top scored for them on a difficult evening.

Annanough continued to pile on the pressure in the second half with a late Conor Donlon goal putting the icing on the cake.

After a draw with Graiguecullen in Round 1, Annanough will hope to add to this win against O’Dempsey’s in two weeks time.

While Killeshin, who beat O’Dempsey’s in Round 1, will face The Rock next,
