Beechfield Healthcare Ltd requires a dynamic team player for the role of a full-time Warehouse Operative in Portlaoise.
Full training will be given but the ideal candidate should have experience of working in a busy warehouse and ideally have a full clean driving licence.
Job Description
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately pick, pack and dispatch orders
- Occasional deliveries to customers
- Operating Manual Handling Equipment
- Attention to detail
- Being able to deal with customers, face to face and over the phone
- Check incoming goods against PO’s and delivery notes
- Manual Handling of stock and finished products
- Maintenance of appropriate paperwork
- Working with internal computerised systems
- General Housekeeping
The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:
- Standing and/or walking during the duration of a shift
- Lifting and moving products
- Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching during the duration of a shift
- Pushing and pulling product during the duration of a shift
- Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists

- Excellent collaboration skills along with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with operating moving equipment
- A flexible can-do attitude
- An eye for detail
- A sense of pride in a job well done
- Preferably, experience within a warehouse environment
Experience
- Can do attitude
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Valid Driver’s Licence would be beneficial.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with quality and health & safety guidelines
