A long-established Portlaoise hardware company has been appointed as the official dealer for Husqvarna.
Millers Home and Garden, located on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise, has been reappointed as the exclusive dealer for Husqvarna, bringing the industry leading range of Forest and Garden Equipment back to Miller’s Home and Garden.

“This is the culmination of five years work since we re-established the Millers brand here on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise.
“It is a great reward for all our hard work and gives me massive personal satisfaction as it is a brand synonymous with Millers due to the fact that my late father, Pat Snr, built up the brand locally since the 1970s, and we are delighted to maintain that tradition going forward.
“We feel the Husqvarna brand is back where it belongs in Portlaoise. Taking on the Husqvarna dealership for Portlaoise again will assist us greatly with our future expansion plans.
“This exciting announcement would not be possible without the support of our loyal customers, also special thanks to my wife Nicky who works in the business with me and has been a huge support in building the business back up to where it should be over the last number of years.’’
The Husqvarna brand has been synonymous with Millers since the 1970s, when the late Pat Miller Sr built up the brand locally.
The company is well-known locally with a strong local client base. Millers will now be stocking the full range of Husqvarna products, including chainsaws, lawnmowers, strimmers, ride-on mowers, and battery-powered equipment.
The company will also have a dedicated Husqvarna automower specialist on the road, who will fit automowers and provide advice on all aspects relating to a new range of robotic mowers.
Pat expressed his delight in the reappointment and thanked his local customers for their continued support.
