ictor Allen, Doon, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 4th June 2023, at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

Loving father, grandfather and brother, in his 70th year. Sadly missed by his children Holly, Hilary, Phillipa, Hope, Katy, Dean, Peter, Henry, Nathanial, Ben, Mathew and Hector, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at his home Doon (eircode R32A7N9) on Tuesday afternoon from 12 noon, concluding with Funeral Prayers at 8.0’clock. Removal on Wednesday afternoon (7th June) to St. Matthew’s Church Roskelton (eircode R32RR77), for Funeral Service at 2.0’clock, followed by Burial in the adjoining Churchyard.

House private on Wednesday please.

Family Flowers only, Donations in lieu of flowers to Friends of Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore (Medical 1).

Peters Liam, Mountain View Portlaoise. June 3rd 2023 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents William and Nancy and sister Martha.

Deeply regretted by his loving sons Niall and Dylan, daughters Lisa and her partner Kevin, Denika and her partner Rob. Sister Delores, brother in law John, grandchildren Ella, Lucas, Logan, Blake and Indie. Aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Tuesday from 6pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s church for 12 noon requiem mass.

It may be viewed on https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/. Interment will follow in Abbeyleix Cemetery adjoining the Church of the most Holy Rosary.

Kilnacourt, Portarlington, Laois/Dublin

Unexpectedly at his residence. Loving son of the late William and Thora Ryan. Sadly missed by his loving sister Thora, brothers Alan, Barry and Gregory, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening (9th June) from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral taking place in Dublin on Saturday (10th June).

The family would like to thank you for your help and understanding at this sad and difficult time.

Mary Catherine (Maura) Connell (née Duffy)

Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Peg, brothers Michael and Joe. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Tony (ex Garda Síochána), sons Paul (Australia), Brian (Dublin) and Alan (Brussels), daughters Jean (Ballycullane Portarlington) and Louise (Maynooth), sons-in-law John and Dermot, daughters-in-law Paula, Reg and Aida, her beloved grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Saturday evening, 3rd June, arriving St Paul’s Church, Emo (eircode R32 RY16) at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday morning, 4th June, at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Who passed peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Carmel. Sadly missed by his loving family Pauline (Aughavas, Leitrim), Carmel, Fran and Breda (Tinnakill, Portarlington), sons in law Sean, Stephen, Tommy, grandchildren Colin, Ciara, Katie, Roisin, Orla, Niamh, Edel, Clodagh, Tomas, Aoife and Lucy.

Pre deceased by sisters Esther, Elizabeth, Mary and brother Ned. Deeply missed by his loving sister Bridie, brother Paddy, brother in law, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at home on Saturday with rosary recital at 8pm. Removal on Sunday at 5.45pm to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St Peter & Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

The Swan, Wolfhill, Laois and Dromagh, Banteer, Cork. Peacefully. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and son-in-law Hugh McBride. Deeply regretted by his loving family Kathleen, Pauline, Tom, Eamonn and Maria, daughters-in-law Louise and Gill, cherished grandchildren Aodhín, Séamus, Tomás,Ben and Zack, grandson-in-law Matt and great-grandchildren Fiadh and Aoife, much loved nieces, nephews relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his daughter’s residence, Vesey Close, Abbeyleix, from 3pm on Saturday with prayers at 8.30pm. Removal to St. Mary’s Church Wolfhill, for 2pm Requiem Mass on Sunday, via the Swan. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
