Raheen Vintage Club have announced their upcoming Vintage Rally will take place on Sunday, July 9.
The Annual Vintage Rally is the club’s flagship event and will be held in Corbally, Abbeyleix.
Raheen Vintage Club seek to use their passion for vintage cars and tractors to raise funds and promote vital causes in their community.
Last year, the club raised €10,000 through various events held throughout the year.
Irish Motor Neurons and the Midlands Down Syndrome Centre, Portlaoise were gifted a total amount of €5000 each
The rally is a day filled with fun for all the family including vintage car and tractor displays.
There will also be an auto-jumble, country markets, vintage thrashing, basket making, a wheel of fortune, archery, music and entertainment.
A dog show will be held on the day in association with The Haven Animal Rescue.
“This years event is set to be our biggest yet with proceeds raised in aid of the Kolbe Special School Portlaoise as well as other local charities,” Chairman, Chris Good said.
“As part of our fundraising efforts, we are holding an auction on the day as well as a raffle that will be held on the 15th of July in Doogues Bar and Lounge, Raheen.
