Peter O’Connell

Formerly from Dublin. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home County Kildare. Darling Dad of the late baby Aideen. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Oonagh, family Shivaun, Terry, Orlagh and Peter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Monday evening (7th August) from 5pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (8th August) at 9:30am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington (R32 HY38) for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to the Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium for Cremation Service at 1pm.

After Peter’s Cremation Service The family are inviting everyone back to Peggy Kellys for refreshments. (Across the road from Mount Jerome).

Michael (Mick) Walsh
Sheadogue, Ballylinan, Laois / Athy, Kildare

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Michael (Mick) Walsh, Sheadogue, Ballylinan, Athy. Peacefully at home, after an illness bourne with great courage and dignity. Beloved husband and best friend of Sheila, much loved father of Ned, Catherine, Gérard, Oliver and Aidan. Deeply regretted by his daughters-in-law Margaret, Martina and Alison, son-in-law Mike, Ned’s partner Catherine, his grandchildren Gary, Padraig, David, Lisa, Conor, Joey, Mikey, Bobby, Danny and Zack and great-grandchildren Charlie and Paisley. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sisters Kit and Anna, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence (R14 HX90). Rosary at 8pm on both Thursday and Friday evening (August 3rd and 4th). Removal on Saturday afternoon to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 1pm. The mass will be livestreamed on the Ballyadams Facebook page (link to follow). Burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Clanmalire Crescent, Portarlington, Laois

Suddenly at her residence. Predeceased by her loving husband Patsy, parents Eric and Una. Deeply regretted by her loving son Martin, brother Andrew, sister-in-law Fiona, nephew Christopher, niece Sarah, grandnieces Courtney, Jersey, Emily and Annie, The family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Thursday evening from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 11:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St John’s Cemetery, Killenard, Portarlington.

Dublin 12, Dublin / Ballybrittas, Laois

KELLY, Sean, 31st July 2023, Temple Manor Way, D.12 formerly of Ballybrittas, Co. Laois. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen, much loved father of Anne, Brian, Aileen, Damian and Noel. Sean will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 this Friday evening from 4pm – 6pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village arriving for 10am Requiem Mass followed by cremation at Mt. Jerome Crematorium. To view the Funeral Service, please click here. John Conroy
Clonshaugh, Dublin/Clonaslee, Laois

Conroy, John (Jack) – 27th July 2023, (Clonshaugh, Dublin and formerly of Clonaslee, Co. Laois), (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Beaumont Hospital.

Beloved husband of Geraldine and loving father of Seibh, and stepdad of Ciara and Mark; very sadly missed by his family, grandchildren Alice, Abigail and Zoey, daughter-in-law Fiona, sister Maureen, sister-in-law Lillas, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock, Friday 4th August 2023 from 2pm-4pm. Removal Saturday morning to the Church of St Francis of Assisi, Priorswood, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery (Extension).
