Gardai have stood down a search for a missing Laois teenager following the discovery of a body.
Earlier today, Gardai had launched a search for 15-year-old Ronan McNarama from Timahoe.
But following a tragic discovery today, the search has been stood down.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Following the discovery of a body, the missing person appeal for Ronan McNamara has been stood down.
“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
“No further media action is required and no further information is available at this time.”
