Sr. Consolata Blackwell
Kilcock, Kildare / Portlaoise, Laois / Cappamore, Limerick

Blackwell, Sr. Consolata, Presentation Sisters, Kilcock and Portlaoise and late of Cappamore, Co. Limerick, September 7th 2023, peacefully at Clondalkin Lodge Nursing Home, pre-deceased by her parents Lena and James, brothers Denis, John, Fr Paddy and Michael, sisters Nonie and Sr Francis. Deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Phyllis, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great -grandnieces, great-grandnephews, cousins and her fellow Presentation Sisters.

Reposing at Presentation Sisters, Cúl na Cille, Kilcock on Friday from 2pm, followed by removal to arrive at St Coca’s Church, Kilcock for evening prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 3pm, followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery, Kilcock.

Sr. Agnes Kelly
Presentation Order and formerly of Tiermana, Mullagh, Clare / Laois / Kilcock, Kildare

Late of Shalom Nursing Home, Kilcock, County Kildare. Sr. Agnes passed away peacefully at Clondalkin Lodge Nursing Home, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary, her brother Patrick, her sisters Noreen, Gertie and Teresa. Sadly missed but fondly remembered by her nephew Michael, nieces Anne, Frances and Bernadette, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and the Presentation Order.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (R32 X5XV) on Thursday evening from 5pm with Removal at 6:50pm arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday  at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Sr. Agnes’s nieces wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caring and compassionate staff of Shalom Nursing Home, Kilcock who always cared for Sr. Agnes with such dignity and kindness. Thanks to Marie and Edith for the warm welcome when we visited.

Andrew Morrissey
Chantiere Gate, Portlaoise, Laois, R32 HFX2

Andrew Morrissey, Chantiere Gate, Portlaoise and late of Monkstown Farm and Woodfarm Acres, Palmerstown and Knockanina, Mountrath. Died peacefully on 04 September 2023 surrounded by his family at Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home. Father of the late Mark and beloved husband of Maeve and deeply missed by his son Andrew and daughters Lisa and Lorna. Grandfather to Serena, Devona, Andrew, Mark, Aaron, James, Sean, Jacob, Kevin, Ciaran, Aidan and Lucy. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Phil and Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his family home from 6pm on Wednesday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday to St Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 2pm Mass. Cremation will follow on Friday at 11.30 am in Newslands Cross.
