Laois Hire are delighted to announce Enda Rowland as their new Brand Ambassador.

As an Abbeyleix man, Enda is local to their Portlaoise headquarters and represents the Laois county hurling team.

Enda has been both an employee and a customer of Laois Hire over the years so there is nobody better placed to be their ambassador.

The Laois goalkeeper and former All Star nominee will help promote Laois Hire around the country and reinforce the fact that Laois Hire are the leading Plant & Tool hire company in Ireland.

Laois Hire Managing Director, Michael Killeen, said: “It’s great to have Enda come on board as our Brand Ambassador.

“We place a lot of emphasis on supporting the local community and Enda is going to assist with that. He is going to help us encourage children to get involved, and stay involved, with sports from a young age.”

Enda, who played for Abbeyleix on Sunday week last in their first Laois senior final appearance in 74 years, is a hugely talented goalkeeper and has been playing for Laois since 2015.

In 2019, he was a key player on the Laois team that won the Joe McDonagh Cup and ended the season by receiving a GAA-GPA All-Star nomination.

The following year he was appointed captain of the Laois senior hurling team for the 2020 season.

Rowland has also been selected several times for the Ireland national Shinty/Hurling team and has taken part in the Shinty/Hurling International Series.

Enda has recently launched his own business, Enda Rowland Fitness.

You can take part in group classes and/or receive expert one on one personal training.

You can also avail of Enda’s online coaching which consists of a personalised weekly training program, nutritional advice, sample meal plans and weekly progress updates. You can find him on Instagram @enda_r_.
