Vincent (Vinnie) Cooney
14 Mary Street, Durrow, Laois

Vinne passed away, unexpectedly, at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, on 6th Dec 2023. Dearly loved son of John and Betty, and much loved brother of Martina. Vinnie will be sadly missed by his parents, sister, uncles, aunts, cousins and a wide circle of friends.

Tomas Molevicius
Clondalkin, Dublin / Portarlington, Laois

Portarlington, Clondalkin and Lithuania. Tragically following a traffic accident.

Beloved son of Valdas and Aleksandra, much loved partner to Aukse and devoted father to Gabija, loving brother to Rolandas. Tomas will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his family, work colleagues in Panda Waste and many friends in Ireland and Lithuania.

A service will be held at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Clondalkin Village (D22 EOCO) on Wednesday 13th December between 4pm and 6pm.

Margaret Esther Moynan (née Carry)
Woodview House, Ballacolla, Laois

MOYNAN (née Carry), Margaret Esther (Woodview House, Ballacolla, Co. Laois) – 7th of December 2023, died suddenly but peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Richard and sister of the late Tom, loving mother of Karene, Janet and Marcus, proud Nana of Joshua, Ethan, Edwina, Holly, Rosie and Matthew. Deeply regretted by her sons-in-law Karl and John, Marcus’ partner Nicola, her brother George, sister-in-law Flossie, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at O’Sullivans Funeral Home, Rathdowney, R32 NY24 from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday, 10th of December. Funeral Service at Killermogh Parish Church on Monday, 11th of December at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. House strictly private. Donations, if desired, to Laois Hospice.

Rahin, Ballylinan, Laois

Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Lourdesville Nursing Home, Kildare. Predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Marie, Sandra, Caroline and Geraldine, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Cillian, Evan, Ciaran, Poppy and Dahlia, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his daughter Sandra’s residence , Rahin, Ballylinan (R14 YH36) on Sunday afternoon (Dec 10th) from 5pm until 7pm. Removal at 9.45am on Monday morning to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Ballylinan.

John (Jack) Delaney
Kyledellig, Ballacolla, Laois

John (Jack) Delaney, Kyledellig, Ballacolla, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Died suddenly December 5th. Dearly loved son of Tim and Eileen, much loved brother of Tim and Tom and adoring sister Sarah.

John will be sadly missed by his sisters in law Sara and Kate, nieces Evelyn and Sadie, nephew Tim, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Jack will repose in his home (R32 K5D0) on Thursday (Dec 7th) and Friday (Dec 8th) from 4pm with rosary at 8pm, both evenings. Removal Saturday morning (Dec 9th) from his residence to arrive at St. Canice’s Church, Clough (R32 K003) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with interment immediately afterwards in Knockaroo Cemetery (R32 F886).

House private on Saturday morning, please.

Anthony (Tony) Ryan (Hat)
Bealaclave, Rearcross, Tipperary/Errill, Laois

Ryan (Hat), Anthony (Tony), Bealaclave, Rearcross, Newport, Co. Tipperary, December 5th 2023, (suddenly) at his residence in the arms of his wife Mary.

Predeceased by his parents Neddie and Mary, sister Breda (Twohig), his father and mother in law Tommy and Peggy Hogan and brother in law Thomas.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Mary G (nee Hogan, Coolowley, Errill, Co. Laois), his cherished daughters Marie and Antoinette, Marie’s partner Eoghan, brothers Jimmy, Timmy and Eamon, aunts Eileen (Chadwick) and Julia and Eddie (Lambe), brothers in law Jim, John and Paul, sisters in law Eileen, Margaret, Nora and Catherine, nephews, nieces, relatives, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Michael Harrison
Clontubrid, Freshford, Kilkenny / Errill, Laois / Kilfinane, Limerick

Ballagh Errill, Co. Laois and formerly Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. Peacefully, after illness bravely borne with dignity and great humour. Predeceased by his wife Cathy. Sadly mourned by his loving partner Edwina and all her family, his daughters Claire and Kathy, son John, son in law Ian, daughter in law Thipyartat, grandson Jack, brothers Robert and Stephen, sister Claire, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Gathering of friends and acquaintances at the home of his partner Edwina Farrell, Clontubrid, Freshford, Co. Kilkenny R95HP49 on Friday, 8th December, from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.

A celebration of Michael’s life will take place in Holy Trinity Church, Durrow, on Saturday, 9th of December, at 9.30am, followed by removal to Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin, for a further celebration service at 1.00pm followed by cremation.
