Sadness in Stradbally following the passing of retired primary school teacher

    Kay Corcoran RIP

Originally from Naas in Kildare, Kay came to Stradbally in the 1970s when she married her husband, the late Jim.

She worked in Stradbally BNS throughout the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and into the new millennium.

Remembered fondly by former students and teachers alike, Kay had a love for music which she instilled in all.

Kay, from Inch in Stradbally, sadly passed away on Wednesday, January 17.

Predeceased by her husband Jim, she is sadly missed by her son and daughters – Sarah, James and Marie, and their partners Alan, Kathryn and James.

She is also missed by her grandchildren Mary Kate, Alice, James and Dan, sisters Marjorie, Anya and Jenny, brothers Joe, Richard and the extended Corcoran and Boyle families, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kay will be reposing in the Presentation Chapel, Stradbally (R32 WRH9) on Friday evening, January 19, from 4pm until 8pm, with recital of the Rosary at 8pm.

Kay’s requiem Mass will take place on Saturday morning, January 20, at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally which can be viewed on https://svtparish.ie/webcam.

This will be followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin at 1.30pm, which can be viewed on https://www.dctrust.ie/location/newlands-cross/chapel-webstream.html.

    May Kay Rest in Peace.
