Cloncosney, Mountmellick, Laois

Christina (Chrissie) Lawlor, Cloncosney, Mountmellick, February 16th, 2024. In the loving care of the staff at Ashley Lodge Nursing Home, age 98.

Predeceased by her husband Owen, brothers John and Patrick, sisters May, Julia, Kathleen, Josie and Gabrielle, nieces and nephews.

Sadly missed by her loving son Michael (Sonny) and his wife Agnes, her daughter Margaret (Rita), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, her life-long friend Nancy and her many other friends.

Reposing in Moloneys Funeral Home on Sunday from 5pm Recital of The Rosary at 7pm. Removal from Moloney’s Funeral Home on Monday morning at 10.15am to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick via her former family home in Irishtown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St Joseph’s Cemetery.

Helen Byrne (née Harding)
Ridge Rd, Portlaoise, Laois

Helen Byrne (nee Harding) “St Martins” Ridge Rd., Portlaoise. 14th February 2024 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband John, also her parents Jack and Annie, her sisters Frances, Patty and brother Sonny.

Loving mother to John, Sharon, Ivan, Ian and Martin. Cherished grandmother to her fourteen grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her family, brothers P.J and Jimmy, sisters Phyllis McDonald and Lily Kelly, son in law Willie, daughters in law Joan, Celine, Orla and Gina, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6.30 pm till 8 pm. Rosary will be recited at 7.30 pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery


Mary Kealey (née Tynan)
Sheffield Cross, Portlaoise, Laois

Mary Kealey (nee Tynan). Sheffield Cross, Portlaoise, Co.Laois. Died February 15th 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her brother Dan and sister Kathleen.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Paddy. Daughters Mary and Caroline, sons Sonny, Martin and Brian, and their partners Sandra, Tracey and Jezette, sisters Lill and Lucy, brother Ned, sons-in law Michael and Eamon, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence (R32 D59O) on Friday from 3pm with recital of the rosary and 7pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 2pm requiem mass. Burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.


Enda Corcoran
Mamoroneck, New York & Coolagh, Clonaslee, Laois

Enda passed away suddenly in his home in New York on the 9th of September 2022.

Predeceased by his father John and brothers William & Sean. Enda will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Noreen, son Ronan, his mother Marie, sisters Rita & Rose, mother-in-law Maura, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Enda’s ashes will be brought to St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee on Saturday the 17th of February 2024 at 1pm where his funeral mass will be celebrated.
