David (Dave) Tuohy, Twoomey Park, Mountmellick died February 22nd peacefully at home in the company of his beloved wife and family.

Dave is survived by his dear wife Anne and his loving children Dave, Michelle and her partner Donald and Derek and his wife Carolyn, grandchildren Aaron, Katie, Robert, Ben and Ellie, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, neighbours, many friends and his dog Duke.

Dave will repose in his home on Friday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Family time in his home on Saturday morning. Removal at 10.15am to St Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St.Josephs Cemetery, Mountmellick.

Mattie Byrne, Patrick Street, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 19th February 2024, unexpectedly at his home.

Beloved husband of Ann, and father to Fergal, Barry and Matthew. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Niamh, Fianna, Kevin and Róisín, daughters-in-law Tina and Olivia, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on Wednesday evening (February 21st) from 7 o’clock, concluding with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning (February 22nd) to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath (eircode R32X338), for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.
