Fifty Seven Boutique and Gift Emporium opens its new store in old Bank of Ireland building in Durrow

Fifty Seven Boutique and Gift Emporium has opened their new store in Durrow this Friday, March 8.

Mary and Jenny Miller – the mother and daughter duo who own and manage the business – orginally opened for business in July 2019 on The Square in Durrow.

Fast forward to summer 2023 when the former Bank of Ireland premises came up for sale and in what is a vote of confidence in Durrow, the bank premises was purchased by the Miller family.

They have spent the past few months renovating and adapting it to a very large retail space and will now be the new home of their fashion and giftware business.

The Durrow branch of Bank of Ireland was one of the 88 branches across Ireland that was closed in March 2021.

Durrow is a small town but a very busy junction, connecting north to south and east to west travellers and also bordering the nearby counties of Kilkenny and Tipperary, making it very accessible to many.

This Friday, March 8, the new store will open boasting 1200sq ft of retail area and carrying an extensive range of fashion, footwear and gifts.

Stocking leading brands including Rabe, Marble, Peruzzi, Street One, Cecil, Fransa, and Soya Concept, Fifty Seven are excited to launch the best selling Irish label Naya in Durrow for the first time and also this season they are introducing the much loved Rieker footwear brand to their offering.

Fifty Seven currently have two stores in Athy in Kildare as well as their new store in Durrow and an active online store and good social media presence.

Fifty Seven will be open at 1pm on Friday, March 8, and will open daily from 10am-5:30pm Monday- Saturday.
