Kenneth Mooney
Meelick, Rosenallis, Laois

Kenneth Mooney, formerly of Meelick, Rosenallis and of Fleet in Hampshire who died suddenly on the 21st of June, 2024.

Deeply regretted by his wife Samantha, his daughters Imogen and Estelle, his parents Brigid and Seamus Mooney, his sister Colleen and his brothers Sean and Brian, his brother-in-law David and his sister-in-law Nicola, his nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.

Kenneth will be interned on Thursday, the 11th of July, at 11am at “The Church of our Lady” in Fleet, Hampshire with burial afterwards at St Mary’s Church in Hartley Wintney in the Hart District of Hampshire.

Anne Murphy (née Tobin)
Moyvannion, Kiltoom, Roscommon, N37PN79/Ballacolla, Laois

Anne Murphy (née Tobin), Moyvannion, Kiltoom, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, and formerly of Clough, Ballacola, Co. Laois, Friday, July 5th, 2024 peacefully, in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Tullamore General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Gerard and infant daughter Susan.

Sadly missed by her loving family Catherine (Thomas), Geraldine (Alan), Vincent(Raffa) and David (Karen), granddaughters Grace and Clodagh, grandsons Kevin, Sean, Indie, Francis and Noah, cousin Catherine, relatives, good neighbours and her many great friends.

Reposing at her home in Moyvannion, (N37 PN79) on Monday evening (July 8th) from 5 o’c until 7.30 o’c. Removal on Tuesday morning (July 9th) to the Church of the Risen Christ, Ballybay, Kiltoom, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery. Bridie Whelan (née Wade)
Killeshin, Carlow/Killeshin, Laois

Bridie Whelan (nee Wade), Ardenteggle, Killeshin, Carlow, July 6th 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Tom and much loved mother of Doreen, John, Ann Marie, Mary and Michael. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, daughter-in-law Joanne, sons-in-law Aiden and Jim, adored grandchildren Shauna, Nicole, Ciara, Mikey and Ava, brother-in-law Jamesy, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Annie, brother Jimmie and sister Nancy.

Reposing at her daughter Doreen’s home in Ardenteggle R93 WP71 on Sunday and Monday from 2pm concluding with prayers both evenings at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12noon in Holy Cross Church, Killeshin R93 WT29. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully in the care of the Matron and staff of Tullamore Regional Hospital and surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Kathleen, brothers Tommy and William, sisters Catherine and Joanna.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Christy, Paddy and Fintan, his sister Mary, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his brother Christy’s residence, 14 Brophy Terrace, Roscrea (E53PP63) on Monday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11.20am arriving in St. Cronan’s Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Dungar Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Friends of Tullamore Hospital.

Ann Carroll (née Kelly)
Rathmoyle, Abbeyleix, Laois

Peacefully in the care of University Hospital Tallaght, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents John and Hannagh, and her infant brother Patrick.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Tony, daughters Joan and Marian, son Thomas, brother Tom, daughter-in-law Katie, sons-in-law Brian and John, grandchildren Sarah, Olivia,Tommy, Aoife, and Diane, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Friday from 5pm. until 8pm.,reposing at The Chapel of Repose adjoining the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Saturday evening from 6.15 pm. with Prayers at 8.pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11am.

in the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Abbeyleix.

House private on Sunday morning by request.

Maryborough, Douglas, Cork/Portlaoise, Laois/Arklow, Wicklow

MARIE (née Griffin), dearly beloved wife of Liam, much loved mum of Emer, Donal and Fergal, adored grandma of Molly, Sophie, Rory, Emma, Ellie, Lucy and Penny, loving mother-in-law of Paula and Cal and dear sister of John, Ray, Rita and Ted.

She bore her illness with great fortitude and strength. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (July 5th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
