There is sadness in Laois this week following the passing of Ciaran ‘Bobo’ Lawal.
From Station Road in Portlaoise, Ciaran passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home on Sunday.
Ciaran is deeply missed by his mum Prisca and his dad Nuru Lawal.
Adored brother of Kuda, sisters Colletta and Latoya, he is also deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, extended family and his many friends.
Ciaran was a member of Park-Ratheniska GAA and they paid tribute to him following the sad news.
They said: “All at the Club were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our friend Ciaran Lawal on Monday morning.
“We say Ciaran, but to everyone who knew him, he was simply ‘Bobo’.
“A hugely popular figure amongst his peers; Bobo was ever present in our underage teams from a young age.
“Our thoughts are with Kay and his wide circle of family and friends.
“May he Rest In Peace.”
Ciaran’s funeral details will be announced in due course. May he Rest in Peace.
