Angela Broderick, Knockiel Rd. Rathdowney, Co. Laois, unexpectedly at home. Predeceased by her dad John.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken family, her mam Kathleen, brothers Kevin and John, sister Mary, sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law David Morgan, nieces and nephews Alanna, Daniel (D.J.), John, Conor and Gràinne, uncles, aunts, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues at Aer Lingus and a wide circle of friends.

Nora Delaney (née Maher)
Cullenagh, Portlaoise, Laois

Nora Delaney (Nee Maher), Cullenagh, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Died peacefully on the 5th of January, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband, Denis (Din), her daughter Louise, her infant son, & her son-in-law Don Browne.

Dearly loved mother of Judith, Margaret, Olive & Mary.

Adored granny to Maeve, Tadhg, Kevin, Séan, Jerome, Muireann, Cathal, Nora-Jane, Liam, Tess, Louise, Alice, Eamon, & Denis.

Deeply mourned by her loving sisters Angela Brennan & Bridget (Melbourne), & her brother Noel (Melbourne).

Much loved mother-in-law to Brian Booth, Ger O’Donoghue, Pat Arrigan & John Joe Doyle.

Deeply regretted by her brother-in-law Michael & sister-in-law Sadie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan, on Tuesday the 7th of January from 3pm, with Prayers at 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12noonin St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan, with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Nora’s family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support at this difficult time.

The death has occurred of Janice Cambell, Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally, Co. Laois. Janice passed away on the 3rd of January 2025 in the wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff at Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally, Laois. Deeply regretted by The Dillon Family, Portlaoise.

Private cremation will take place at a later date.

Paddy Dunne
Russelstown, Attanagh, Kilkenny, R32XP26/Attanagh, Laois

Paddy died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in St, Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny. Predeceased by his parents, sister Nellie and brother John Joe.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bernie, daughters Colette and Claire, son Padraigh, son-in-law Kieran, grandson Robbie, brother Eamon, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence (R32XP26) on Saturday 4th January from 4pm pausing for Rosary at 5pm. Removal on Sunday 5th January to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill for 12 Noon Requim Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Portlaoise, Laois

Ann Munnelly, Née O’Connell, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, 29th December, 2024, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving and devoted children, Róisín, Pauric and Elaine, and their partners Emily and Ciarán, adored four grandchildren Cian, Alisha, Odhrán and Córa, brothers Dan and Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Mairéad Gaffney-Moore, 4 Village View, Errill, Co. Laois, December 31st. 2024, unexpectedly at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin in the presence of her heartbroken family.
Predeceased by her dad Frank.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Eoin, her adored daughters Ciara and Caoimhe, her mother Brenda, sister Marcella, mother-in-law Teresa, father-in-law Mick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family, work colleagues, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her mam’s residence Monamondra, Errill (Eircode R32 F7D7) on Wednesday afternoon January 8th. from 2 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning January 9th. to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church Errill arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in St. Kieran’s Cemetery Errill. Due to predicted inclement weather an opportunity to sympathise with Mairèad’s family will take place in the church after her Requiem Mass.
