Mountrath Community School all set to present ‘The Greatest Show’

Mountrath Community School is to present their own remaking of hit musical – The Greatest Showman.

Simply titled ‘The Greatest Show, this is to take place on March 19 to 22 in St Philomena’s Hall

This is following stage performances of Grease, Super Trouper and Back to the 90’s and is promised to be a show ‘you will never forget’.

Inspired to by the story of P.T Barnum, and by the film of its namesake, this stage performance will show the challenges and triumphs of the main character and the cast of characters surrounding him.

In a story about acceptance, this will be a display of finding solace in oneself and showing the ‘beauty of individuality’.

Anne-Marie Lawlor will be at the helm of the project ensuring its quality, while Paul Norton is to direct the musical.

Finally, putting the pieces together on the choreography side is Julianne McNamara.

Songs that will be included in the play are hit songs such The Greatest Showman, The Other Side, and This is Me.

With a stage performance such as The Greatest Showman, there will be great anticipation for this performance, with tickets anticipated to be truly popular.

Tickets are on sale from €12 for concession tickets and €18 for a standard ticket.
