Scully Patrick (Pat) (7th May2025) (Stradbally, Co. Laois and formerly of Kingswood Heights, Dublin) peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne with great dignity in the loving and devoted care of all the staff in St. Bridget’s Nursing Home, Shaen, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
Beloved husband of Rita (nee Keogh) and much loved father of Geoff and Nigel, loving brother of Maureen and Stella and the late Ann; Pat will be deeply missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, daughter in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends and kind neighbours.
Reposing at The Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village, Dublin D22 K602 on Sunday (11th May 2025) from 2pm to 4pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (12th May) at 11:30am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village, Dublin D22 VW58 and afterwards at the Temple, Newlands Cross Cemetery D24 EP83 followed by Cremation for 1:30pm.

Frank McGlynn, Derrynaseera, Camross, Co. Laois and formerly of Aghyaran, Co. Tyrone and Oxford UK, passed away May 8th 2025 surrounded by his loving family, peacefully to the sound of the dawn chorus.
Predeceased by his parents Teresa and Bartley, his godson and nephew Adrian Steepe.
Cherished husband of Maud, father of Nicola, Collette and Kerry, father in law of Ger, adored grandfather of Meagan, Níamh, Dervla, Maeve, Eli and Séamie, brother of Mary, Ann, Kathleen, John, Margaret and Gerard, special niece Michelle, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home Derrynaseera, Camross (Eircode R32A038), (opposite Camross GAA pitch) this Friday (May 9th) from 5pm with rosary at 9pm, and Saturday (May 10th) from 5pm with rosary at 9pm.
House Strictly Private on Saturday (May 10th) until 5pm due to Séamie’s First Holy Communion.
Frank’s funeral cortege will arrive at St. Fergal’s Church, Camross (R32VY79) on Sunday (May 11th) for Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery, Camross.
Seàn Finn
Conoboro Rd., Rathdowney, Laois
Seàn Finn, Conoboro Rd. Rathdowney, Co. Laois, May 7th. 2025, peacefully in the presence of those he loved. A man with a great love of all aspects of Irish cultural heritage particularly Irish music.
Predeceased by his parents Martin and Margaret. Sadly missed and remembered with love his wife Mary, sons Eoin and his partner Caroline, Ciaràn and his partner Iwona, Conor and his wife Kasia and Hugh and his partner Ela, grandchildren Holly, Hugo and Matthew Seàn, sisters Lucy and Dolores, brother Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of lifelong friends.
Reposing at his residence Conoboro Rd. Rathdowney (Eircode R32 X7P1) on Friday evening May 9th. from 4 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning May 10th. to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.

5th May 2025 (peacefully) after a short Illness at St James Hospital, beloved husband of Annette, he will be sadly missed by his children Barry, Paul and Peadar, grandchildren Clodagh, Darragh, Cormac, Evie and Niall, brother Joe, daughters-in-law Vauney, Kay and Sabrina, sister-in-law Betty, brothers-in-law Paul and Jimmy Murtagh and Liam Hyland, sisters-in-law Ann and Betty Murtagh, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home Willbrook, Rathfarnham Thursday 8th May 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass Friday 9th May in the Church of the Holy Spirit Ballyroan at 10am followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery. No flowers please donations if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

Joseph (Joe) Fitzpatrick, Murroe Wood, Murroe, Co. Limerick formerly of Kyldelligh, Rathdowney, Co. Laois passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on 4th May 2025 at University Hospital Limerick. Predeceased by his father Bill, mother Liz and sister Marion. Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, sons William, Kevin and Derek, daughters in law Trisha, and Isabel, grandchildren Kiri, Sophie, Caoimhe, Fred, and Lily, brothers Michael and Pat, sister Peggy, brother in law Paddy, sisters in law Tina and Barbara, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home (Murroe Wood V94 VA4N) on Wednesday 7th May from 5 to 7 p.m. Arriving to the Holy Rosary Church, Murroe on Thursday 8th at 11.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. which will be streamed, followed by burial in Clonkeen cemetery.
