BerBrennan. Summerhill Lane Portlaoise. Formerly Cobh Co. Cork .May 16th 2025 . Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Suncroft Nursing home. Dearly loved mother to Sarah and Susan. And infant Paul (rip).
Deeply regretted by her sons in law, Stephen and Chris. Cherished grandmother to Paul, Tríona, Ryan, Nathan, Charlee, Luke, Devon, Freya and Aleya. Great grandmother to Daphné, Malcolm, Aubree and Lily. Regretted by her brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law. Nephews, nieces. Relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral home on Sunday evening from 4 pm until 6 pm. With rosary at 5pm. Removal on Monday to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church for 11 am mass on Monday morning. Private cremation will follow afterwards.
Dr. Fergus McKeagney
Belmont Main Street, Portarlington, Laois
Dr. Fergus McKeagney passed unexpectedly but peacefully in Portlaoise Hospital on the morning of the 17th May 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Oonagh.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Liz, his children Fergus, Neil, Sarah, Dara and Cian, his 6 siblings Francis, Fiona,, Niall, Garrett, Eoin and Morgan, the family circle, neighbours and many friends.
Fergus worked as a GP for over 35 years in tireless service of his community in Portarlington and the surrounding areas while he was happiest surrounded by friends and family, he had a passion for music, golf and fishing.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm on Monday evening 19th of May. Removal from his residence on Tuesday morning 20th of May at 11:15am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Patrick (Pat) Kavanagh

14th May, 2025. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family; beloved son of the late Margaret and Patrick and brother of the late Peter.
Pat will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marian, daughters Audrey, Emma and Karen, sons-in-law Shane, Eoin and Shane, sister Ann, grandchildren Evan, Sam, Clodagh, Ben, Jamie, Daire, Caoimhe, Peter and pre-deceased by his grand-daughter Ruth, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McGuill’s Funeral Home, Bennekerry, R93 E5N7 on Friday from 4.00p.m. concluding with Prayers at 7.30p.m. Removal on Saturday afternoon to The Church of the Holy Cross, Killeshin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2.30p.m. followed by private cremation.

Wall (formerly of Dr. Murphy Place, Portlaoise and Coolock, Dublin 17) May 13th., 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Silvergrove Nursing Home, Clonee, John, dear father of Gordon, Marie and Eamonn.
Predeceased by his daughter Isabell, mother Annie, sisters Kathleen and Sally and brother Thomas; sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren David and Sean, daughter-in-law Lisa, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla on Sunday evening (May 18th) between 4pm and 6pm. Removal on Monday morning (May 19th) to St. Ciaran’s Church, Hartstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.
