Dorgan (née Feehan), Mary – 23rd May 2025 – late of Violet Hill, Glasnevin, Dublin 11 and formerly Durrow, Co. Laois. Peacefully, in the Mater Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her devoted and loving husband Micheál, parents Mary and Denis, sister Anne, brothers Paddy and Denis.
Mary, loving and kind mother of Noel, Jennifer, Colette, Deirdre, Tracy, Suzanne and Enda, proud and loving grandmother of Jennifer, Garry, Christopher, Alan, Olly, Ava, Ben and Lucy and great-grandmother of Phoebe, sadly missed by daughters-in-law Janet and Githa, sons-in-law Vincent, Shay and Mark, also her sister Norah, sisters-in-law Brigid and Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

O’Reilly (née O’Meara) (Glenageary, Co. Dublin, late of Templemore and Portlaoise) 23rd May 2025, peacefully at home. Ellen Mary (Nell) beloved wife of Martin, loving mother of Michael, Jim and Geraldine. Sadly missed by her husband, children, sons-in-law Tony and John, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Alison, Claire, Jamie, Hannah and Sam, great grandchildren Teddy and Rosie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Also remembering her late daughters Josephine-Anne and Joan and her son-in-law Sean.
Reposing Monday May 26th at her home from 5pm-7pm. Removal Tuesday May 27th to St. Michael’s Church, Dun Laoghaire arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Michael passed away peacefully in the company of his loving family in Ofalia House, Edenderry, Co. Offaly. Predeceased by his brother Bernard. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, his sons Keith and Gerard and his daughter Kirsten, son in law Damian, daughters in law Mary and Niamh, his adored grandchildren Laurence, Sarah, Rachael, Michelle, Louise, Noah, Ellen and his sister Maura, his extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence on Monday 26th from 4pm – 7pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Tuesday morning at 9:40 am to arrive at Saint Michael’s Church Portarlington for 10 o clock Requiem Mass. Which may be viewed on https://www.mcn.live/Cameras/st-michaels-church-portarlington

Eileen Fitzsimons, née Darcy, Monadreen, Thurles Co.Tipperary and formerly Mountrath Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Peacefully, after a short illness. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Kathleen Darcy. Deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Bernie, daughter Mary, son John, grandchildren especially Amy and Nicole, great-grandchildren, John’s partner Liz, brother Adrian, sister Catherine, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday 25th May from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Joseph and Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles on Monday 26th May at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise at 1pm.

Vera Donohue (Née Conroy) Main Street, Stradbally, Co. Laois Formerly Clonad.
Vera passed away suddenly but peacefully in Portlaoise General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband John, sister Marie, brothers Brendan and Jack, her brother-in-law Paddy Donohue.
Sadly, missed by her sons and daughters, Donal, Diarmuid, Maria, Eva and John, daughters in law, Sinead, Patricia and Michelle, son in law Paul and Marias partner James. Loving Grandmother to Conor, Aine, David, Emer, Orla and Noah. Her brothers Tony, Joe George, Peter and Louis, her brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence on Saturday 24th from 4 o’clock. Concluding with recital of the rosary at 8pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Sunday morning at 11:15am to arrive to the Sacred Heart Church Stradbally for 11:30 Requiem mass, which can be viewed on https://www.mcn.live/Cameras/sacred-heart-church-stradbally. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

Passed away suddenly at home on the morning of the 19th. May.
Deeply regretted by her loving family. Reposal on Sunday 25th May from 5 to 7pm. in St.Brigid’s Church Shanahoe. Requiem Mass on Monday the 26th. in St. Brigid’s Church Shanahoe at 11am, followed by burial in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.
