Formerly of Ballymorris, Portarlington County Laois. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Dear Dad of the late Bridget. Deeply regretted by his loving son Martin, daughter Caroline and their mother Bridget, grandchildren Emily, Jamie, Carleigh and in the very near future 2 more grandchildren, daughter-in-law Marie, brother Dinny, sister Mossie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret, brothers Billy, Charlie, Jack and Paddy, sisters Carmel, Sadie and Madeline.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9:20am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Peggy Foster (née Cuddy)
Bray, Wicklow/Camross, Laois

Peggy Foster (née Cuddy), late of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Camross, Co. Laois, died peacefully on 26th May 2025, in her 96th year, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness.

Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Pat, cherished Nana of Rufus, Justine and Aisling, caring mother-in-law of Mary, dearly loved sister of Kathleen and the late Nan, Eilish and Seán, sadly missed by her brothers-in-law Michael and Pat and by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Peggy’s family wish to acknowledge the exceptional care given by Anne Costello and her wonderful team in Tara Care Centre, Bray during her time there.

Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday (28th May) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (29th May) at 10.00am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray followed by burial in St. Mochonog’s Cemetery, Kilmacanogue.

Larry Brady
Beechlawn, Portlaoise, Laois

Larry Brady. Beechlawn. Mountmellick Rd Portlaoise. (R32R253) May 26th 2025 . Peacefully at home surrounded by his caring family. Loving husband of June and dearly loved father to Anthony, Anne and Paddy. Cherished grandfather to Tommy, Liam, Mena, Emmet, Niamh, Evan, Luke, Jamie and Tony. Predeceased by his Father, Tony Brady. Deeply regretted by his loving Mother Rita, brothers Kevin, Murt, and Gaby, sisters Yvonne and Bernie, daughters in law Sarah and Marese, son in law Joe, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces , relatives, friends and all his customers and friends in Brady Recovery.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday from 4 pm, with rosary at 8 pm. House Private outside of these hours. Removal on Thursday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 11 am requiem mass. Burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Paddy Bowe
Redcastle, Mountrath, Laois

Paddy Bowe, Redcastle, Mountrath, Co. Laois, passed away unexpectedly on 24th May 2025. Deeply missed by his brother, sisters, nephews, brother-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Paddy’s funeral will be arriving in St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath on Thursday morning (29th May), for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.
