Phyllis Graham (née Flynn)
Ballydavis, Portlaoise, Laois

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Caroline, Enda, Kevin, Anthony, Brian, Diarmuid, and Sinéad.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Liam, sister Ann, her close friend Marie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home (Eircode: R32KPY8) on Sunday 1st June, with Rosary Recital at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place at 12pm on Monday 2nd June in St. Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise. Interment afterwards in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Marian Carey (née Scully)
Clononeen, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois, R32T207

Formerly of Killanure.

Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family. Pre-deceased by her brother Michael and sister Kathleen.

Sadly missed and remembered by her loving husband Paddy, sons Pauric, Niall, Brendan and Ciarán, grandchildren Dean, Evan, Adam, Oisín, Dale, Sam and Harper, sister Teresa Lynch and brother Martin Scully, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, good neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her residence in Clononeen (R32T207) on both Saturday and Sunday evenings from 4.00pm to 9.00pm. (Rosary ar 9.00pm) Removal from her residence on Monday morning at 10.30am arriving in St. Canice’s Church, Borris-in-Ossory for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in St. Molua’s cemetery, Ballaghmore.

There will be a traffic flow in operation for anyone wishing to attend Marian’s residence on both evenings. We ask that people approach from the Rock Road at Borris-in-Ossory village. Parking will be available adjoining the residence, and exit via the Clononeen Road out onto the main N7 road. Traffic attendees will be at all junctions to aid with traffic flow.

Portarlington, Laois/Dublin 24, Dublin

CAREY, John, 28th May 2025, Portarlington, Co. Laois, formerly of Tymon North, Dublin 24. Peacefully in the dignified and respectful care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital, Dublin 8, in the presence of his loving family, following the wonderful care of the staff of Portlaoise Hospital ICU.

Dearly loved son of Rita and much-loved brother of Colm, Pat and Caroline. John will be forever loved and sadly missed by mother, brothers and sister, his son Jordan and his two granddaughters Freya and Aurora, he will be forever in the thoughts of his aunts and uncles and remembered by his nephews, nieces and extended family.

A special word of thanks to the Peter McVerry Trust who helped John greatly in his moment of need.
