Eamonn, passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s hospital, Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary and his brother John.

Deeply regretted by his loving and devoted wife Helena, son Padraig, daughters Tracey and Gemma, adored grandchildren Grace and Muireann, son-in-law David, sisters Margaret (Ryan) and Kathleen (Dwyer) brother Simon, mother-in-law Kathleen Kearney, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Eamonn will repose at his residence (R32X7X8) on Wednesday June 18th, from 5.00pm concluding with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday June 19th, arriving in Holy Trinity Church Durrow (R32CK11) for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House private after 8.00pm on Wednesday please.

Predeceased by his loving wife Breda. Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Yvonne, son John, brothers, sisters, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Suzie, grandchildren Jason, Kayleigh, Chloe and Adele, great-grandchildren Malia, Remie, Noah, Bellamy and Éireann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful death of Anne Lawlor formerly of Cloncougher, Geashill Co Offaly. Anne will be reunited with her husband Frank (Bolger) and beloved son Karol, her parents Brigid and Denis, sisters and brothers Brid, Bessie, Paddy and Robert. Loving mother to Mary, Frances, Katherina, Bernadette, Pat, Denis and Bosco. Adored granny to Jordan, Jade, Finn, Kieran, Jarren, Roisin, Stephanie, Tori, Peter, Conor and Megan. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Laurie, Christy, D​​​​enis, Kathleen,Teresa and Anthony, her daughters-in-law Fiona and Rachel, her sons-in-law John, Liam and Jonathan, and her good friends Eileen and Lissie, faithful dog Toby, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues in St. Fintan’s Hospital and friends.

Marian Place, Portlaoise, Laois

Lily Keenan, Marian Place Portlaoise. Died 15th June 2025 in her 95th year. Peacefully at her daughter Martha’s residence surrounded by her loving family. Previously cared for by Bernie, Angela and all the staff at Ballard Lodge nursing home with such great love and tender care.

Predeceased by her loving husband John, sisters Patty Roe and Mary Donoghue, brother Lar Kilbride, brothers in law and sisters in law.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children Pat, Jimmy, Frank, Joe, Betty, Anne, Noeleen, Una, Martha and John, sons in law, Noel, Donal, Liam, Brian and Andy, daughters in law Trish, Lynda, Fionnuala, Cora and Joe’s partner Bozena, her adored 27 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s funeral home on Monday from 6pm till 8pm with rosary at 7:30pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday at 11am in SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaoise.

Anne Conroy (née Kelly)
12 Emmett Street, Mountmellick, Laois/Emo, Laois

Anne Conroy (née Kelly) 12 Emmett Street Mountmellick and formerly of Emo Co. Laois. Died June 15th 2025 peacefully at home in the loving care of her cherished family.

Beloved wife of Bernard, cherished mother of Michael, Bernard, Anne, Anthony, Kevin, Jennifer, Denise and Stephen. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, partner, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home Mountmellick on Tuesday from 5pm. Recital of the Rosary at 7pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday morning at 10.30am arriving to St Joseph’s Church Mountmelllick for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery

Marian O’Shea (née McMahon)
Newtown, Crettyard, Laois, R93Y5F3/Carlow

Marian passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 14th 2025. Predeceased by her father John, brothers Brian and Keith. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Pa, daughter Emily, son Adam, mother Marie, brothers David, John, grandmother Marian, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandniece’s, grandnephew’s, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues.

Reposing at her home Monday from 4pm concluding with rosary at 8pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 12noon in St. Abban’s Church, Doonane, (R93AT86) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Laois Palliative Care and Irish Cancer Society.
