Castletown community to come together for summer festival

The various hard-working communities in Castletown are coming together this Sunday to host a summer festival in the village which promises to be a great afternoon’s entertainment.

Taking place on the village green in the picturesque village, the event takes place this Sunday, June 29, from 2pm.

The Castletown Vintage Club, Castletown Community Centre, Tidy Towns, ICA, Castletown GAA, Naomh Eamann Camogie and the parents associations of the local schools, among others, have a wonderful array of activities organised.

“Come along and join in this community event,” say the organisers.

“Enjoy a display of vintage cars, tractors and machines, bouncing castles, festival games and activities (for adults and children), delicious food and snacks and various stalls raising funds for local community organisations.”
