Marie Graham (née O’Rourke)
Kylebeg, Stradbally, Laois, R32 Y5P6

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her brothers Séamus, Tom and Patrick and sister Brede. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Peter, children Steven, Peadar, Edel, Fergal, Finnbarr, Aisling and Adara, sons-in-law Graham and Paddy, daughter-in-law Sinéad, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Sophie, Ross, Ronan, Adara, Jacob, Cormac, Keela, Robert and Emma, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence (R32 Y5P6) on Wednesday afternoon (June 25th) from 2pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8.30pm. Removal on Thursday morning (June 26th) to arrive at The Church of The Sacred Heart, Stradbally for Requiem Mass at 12 noon , see livestream link on https://www.mcn.live/Cameras/sacred-heart-church-stradbally. Burial afterwards in Oakvale Cemetery.

Elizabeth (Bess) O’Keeffe
The Swan, Wolfhill, Laois/Kilkenny

Formerly of Chatsworth, Clogh, Co. Kilkenny.

Died peacefully in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Alice (Dublin), Mary (Australia) and Margaret (New York), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday morning (June 26th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Clogh, the mass can be viewed HERE. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Michael (Mick) Hogan
Gorrough, Clonaslee, Laois

Michael (Mick) Hogan, Gorrough, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died peacefully on the 22th of June 2025 at his residence. Predeceased by his brother Paddy. Mick will be sadly missed by his brother Jim, his sister Bridie, nieces Lisa, Elaine, Claire, Karen & Anne, nephews Brendan, David & Raymond, sister-in-law Mary, special friend Helen, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, very good neighbours & friends.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday the 25th of June at 2pm in St Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. Mick’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchmedia.tv by selecting County Laois.

Mick’s family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support at this difficult time.

Esther Connaughton (née Hilliard)
Marian Avenue, Portlaoise, Laois

Esther passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of nurses and staff of Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally.

Pre deceased by her husband John, her parents Tom and Annie, brother Jimmy, and sisters Catherine and Marie.

Beloved mother of Wayne, Zara, and Annamarie. Deeply missed by her loving family; son in law Alex, daughter in law Silvia, grandchildren Emily and AJ, brothers Tom, Noel and Martin, sister in law Catherine, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise (Eircode R32W103) on Tuesday 24th June from 5pm- 6.30 pm, with Rosary Recital at 6pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 25th June at 11am in St. Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise, followed by interment in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaoise.

Dorota Gabrysiak
Esker Hills, Portlaoise, Laois

Dorota (Dora) Gabrysiak. Esker Hills Portlaoise. Died 19th June 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her friends and family. Dearly loved mum to Suzanne and Julia. Loving daughter to Krystyna. Deeply missed by her loving family. Brothers Tomasz and Leszek. And all her colleagues and customers and friends at Mueller and O`Connell Bakery in Abbeyleix.

A celebration of her life will take place at the Life Church Portlaoise (R32HA21) at 7 pm on Wednesday evening June 25th. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery Portlaoise. In keeping with her personality Dora would like everyone to wear bright and cheerful clothes to her funeral.

The family appreciate your support at this difficult time, and while welcoming cards and messages of support , they also hope for privacy to deal with the loss.
