Laois Hurlers Golfing Society to hold their Captain’s Prize in Rathdowney Golf Club

Laois Hurlers Golfing Society will hold their Captain’s Prize this coming weekend.

Captains Philip Monnelly will host the event in Rathdowney Golf Club on Saturday, July 19.

Tee time is reserved from 9am to 10.30am.

“Always the highlight of our golfing year, one could say it is primarily a social event with a great opportunity to play golf,” the Society said.

“We are pleased and honoured to have Philip Monnelly as our Captain and we wish him well.

“Our Society is open to all, with new members of all golfing standards welcome.

“We look forward to continued success and enjoyable experiences.”

Annual membership is €20.

To become a member, you must have played hurling (at any level), must be a current member of a golf club and must hold a GUI handicap.
