Emlyn O’Reilly – Liogard Portlaoise – 26th July 2025.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. After a short illness, borne with courage, dignity and positivity. Predeceased by his father Michael and niece Amy.
Loving son to Teresa and cherished brother to Sharon, Keelin, Tracey and Zeta. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers-in-law Anthony, Milie, Séan and Keelins partner Pat, niece Gemma and her partner Gar. All his close colleagues and friends in the Powerpoint family. Cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at home at Liogard (R32KX2T) on Tuesday afternoon from 2 pm until rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10pm to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls church for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery Portlaoise.
Esther (Ciss) Dunne (née Troy)
Glendowns, Portlaoise, Laois
Ciss Dunne, Glendowns, Portlaoise and formerly Ridge Road, Portlaoise. Died 26th July 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Naas Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Har. Dearly loved mother to Mary, Martin, Henry and Paula.
Cherished grandmother to Leighann, Megan, Sinéad, Cormac, Diarmuid, Jessica, Chloe, Jake, Cían and Danny. Great grandchildren Sadie and Tadhg. Daughter-in-law, Sheila, son-in-law Ger. Sisters Mairead, Sr. Lucy and Carmel, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing at Keegans funeral home on Monday from 6.30 pm until 8 pm with rosary at 8 pm. Requiem Mass at 11 am on Tuesday followed by interment in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery Portlaoise.

Capard, Rosenallis, Laois
Liam Kirwan Capard, Rosenallis, Co.Laois passed away peacefully at home on July 26th in his 90th year surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his sister Maura O’Donnell (Dublin).
Sadly missed by his loving wife Esther,sons Willie, Martin and Sean, daughters-in-law Annemarie, Mary and Geraldine, his adored grandchildren James, Aine, Emily, Liam, Daniel, Rory, Conor and Aidan, his sister Lily(Gorman), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Sheila, Annie and Mai, brothers-in-law Matthew and Tom, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
Reposing in his home (R32X677) on Monday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm.
Funeral arriving St Brigid’s Church Rosenallis on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St.Brigids Cemetery.

Pat O`Connor , Bianconi Way Portlaoise and The Heath. Died 25th July 2025. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family Dearly loved father to Claire, Laura and Pauline. Cherished grandfather to Callie, Lana, Laila, Crióa and Rían.
Deeply regretted by his loving family. Brothers Billy and Jim, sister Mary. Son in law Colin and Andy. Brother in law, sisters in law. Nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his family home at 50 Bianconi Way on monday evening from 4 pm until 7 pm. Removal on Tuesday to the Church of the Assumption The Heath for 2 pm requiem mass. Private cremation will follow.

Peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff of Oakdale, Portarlington and Tullamore Hospital and her wonderful live in carer Nikki. Dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Angela, Una, Ita and Marion, sons in law Cyril Walsh and Simon Humphreys, grandson Thomas, sisters Katie and Una, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home on Sunday from 4pm until Rosary at 6pm. Removal at 6.30pm to Mary Mother of God Church, Daingean arriving for prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am followed by Burial after Mass in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Daingean.

Florence (Florrie) Foley (née Cassidy), Rathdowney and 6 Ceannt Fort, Dublin 8, peacefully at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington, Co. Laois surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Frank.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Claire, Fran, Olive, Phil and Pauline, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
