The 2025 Electric Picnic Music and Arts Festival is just over four weeks away and excitement is certainly building.
Ahead of the latest installment, organisers have announced the line ups for three stages – the Comedy Tent, Mother After Dark and Croí.
One Ireland’s favourite stand-up comedians Dara Ó Briain is making his Electric Picnic debut this year.
Comedy sketch troupe Foil Arms and Hog, comedian, writer, illustrator and podcaster, Jarlath Regan, Chris Kent and Shane Todd are among the headliners.
With Karl Spain as MC for the weekend, Kyla Cobbler, Katy Boyle and TikTok star Rachel Galvo, aka The Shite Feminist, are sure to draw crowds.
Vittorio Angelone, Mike Rice, Andrew Maxwell, Gearoid Farrelly, Emma Doran, Eric Lalor, Killian Sundermann, Shane Daniel Byrne and Tony Cantwell are also on the bill.
Ireland’s ‘Best Kept Comedy Secret’ John Colleary, Bridget and Eamon creator and star Bernard O’Shea, Canadian slacker comic Glen Wool, silly and politely offensive Martin Angolo, brains, banter and brilliance from Danny O’Brien, sassy, sexy, saucy and side -splittingly funny, Aideen McQueen, Joe.ie content creator Ryan Carrick, Cherry Comedy Club host Fiona Frawley, London based Irish comic Peter Flanagan and exciting new comedy star Galway girl Aoife Dunne.
Down through the years, Electric Picnic has sought to provide a platform to the best of the new breed of comedians, so prepare to be wowed by the stars of tomorrow when Síomha Hennessy, Steve Spade, Emer Maguire, Bronagh Diamond, Darragh Bourke and Eddie Mullarkey play the biggest gig in their careers thus far.
Mother After Dark is a late-night celebration of queer joy, radical self-expression, and dancefloor liberation under the stars.
From 11pm to 4am, Friday through Sunday, the Mother stage will once again transform into a high-octane queer dance party beneath the trees.
Complete with DJs, drag, dancers, kink, and pure queer energy pulsing into the night.
Mother DJs Rocky T. Delgado, Ruth Kavanagh, and Ghostboy will be joined across the weekend by special guests Kelly-Anne Byrne and Glamo behind the decks, keeping the energy high til the wee small hours.
The cast of drag and performance artists lighting up the stage includes: Abrakedavre, Annie Queeries, APHRA, Avatar Guille, BetteDavidEyes, Blaq Coffee, Blue Flame, Bonnie Boux, Chanel, Cornflake Girl, Crimson leCreme, Donna Fella, Elle LeGent, Haus of W.I.G, Kora Elle, Liam Bee, Naomi Diamond, Nokia, Pixie Woo, Saint Marco, Scarlett Van Tassel, Shaqira Knightly, Terri Fierce, Vicky Volltz, and Viola Gayvis.
Meanwhile, Croí, the soulful sanctuary at the heart of Electric Picnic is now in its third year after replacing Body and Soul.
This vibrant, welcoming space is a nourishing hub of movement, music, and mindful connection.
By day, the Croí mainstage celebrates the originality of the Irish music scene with another incredible lineup of island legends performing on the stunning tree build stage wrapped in a natural amphitheatre, with not to be missed performances from the likes of Andy Irvine, David Holmes, Brigit Mae Power and more, hosted by Áine O’Brien & The Wild Geeze.
Croí is also a hub of mood-boosting movement and meditation, with an array of uplifting classes and workshops throughout the day.

As the sun sets, Croí transforms into a fire-lit gathering place pulsing with rhythm, soul and creativity. Expect conscious celebrations, spontaneous connection, and a soundtrack of Ireland’s most exciting musicians, poets and DJs.
The Trad tent returns with the wild and tender traditional sounds of the Clare session, while Cruit Éireann|Harp Ireland presents three days of Irish harp music at its most vibrant.
