There are only one week left to enter Laois County Council’s 2025 Best Front Garden Competition, with entries closing at 4pm on Thursday, August 14.
The competition will be held as part of the annual Best Estates Competition in which one Laois estate will win €1,500 for their Residents’ Association.
There are thousands of euro in prize money to be won for estates and for individual tenants.
The competition is applicable to housing estates where most properties are under the ownership of Laois County Council.
Estates who fall under this category are automatically entered in the best estates competition.
Tenants who wish to enter the competition for Best Individual Front Garden can do so by completing an application form available here and submitting it to Laois County Council.
Alternatively, tenants can contact a member of the estate management team by email: estatemanagement@laoiscoco.ie or phone: 057-8689330 detailing their name and address and the team will post out a form.
Inspections of estates will commence in the last two weeks in August between Monday, August 18 and Friday, August 29.
