Excellent results across the board as Scoil Chriost Ri students receive 2025 Leaving Cert grades

There was a real buzz around Scoil Chriost Ri on Friday as the class of 2025 received their Leaving Cert results.

On average, one out of two students got over 400 points in their leaving certificate.

While almost one out of ever five students achieved over 500 points.

Head girl Abi White is one of the students who received over 600 points.

She is planning on accepting a place in the University of Limerick, where she will study Biology and Agricultural Science post-primary teaching, with a view of adding a Maths qualification soon after.

The Leaving Certificate Applied results were equally impressive and the LCA coordinator, Ms Breda Butler was thrilled with nine distinctions and four merits.

6th Year Head Mr Tom Moss said: “The results achieved by the class of 2025 were reflective of an incredibly dedicated, focused and above all a very positive-minded year group.

“Every one of them appeared delighted and they should all be very proud of their achievements.”

Principal, Mr Séan Smyth said: ‘This is a joyous milestone for our students — one that opens doors of opportunity and sets our young women on the path to the next chapter of their lives.

“While it is always inspiring to see students achieving over 600 points, we are equally proud of the many students who worked diligently to surpass their own expectations and secure the results they need for their chosen futures — whether that is 400, 300, or 200 points.

“It is also wonderful to celebrate our Leaving Certificate Applied students, many of whom achieved Distinctions and Merits.

“They now move forward into Further Education and Tertiary courses, demonstrating the breadth of opportunities available through the many alternative pathways in our education system.

“We are proud of every student who receives results today, and we wish them continued success as they take their next steps with confidence.”
