Imelda, passed away peacefully, in the company of her loving family, at her residence, in her 88th year.

Predeceased by her husband Willie, her sister Nancy and brother Seán, her parents Hugh and Elizabeth.

Deeply regretted by her daughter Marie, sons Martin and Noel, daughters-in-law Laura and Ann Marie, grandchildren John, Emily, Kate and Liam, sister Mary Buggie, sister in law Ann Barry, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Imelda Rest in Peace. Funeral arrangement will be announced later.

Thomas (Tom) Donovan
Clonard, Mountrath, Laois/Castletown, Laois

Thomas (Tom) Donovan, (27/8/1932 – 25/8/2025), Late of Clonard, Mountrath, Co. Laois.

Passed away August 25th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful and loving care of the staff at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington.

Predeceased by his son Tommy, sisters Anne and Kathleen, brothers Dan, Tony and Jack.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Elizabeth (Lilly), sons Billy, Dan, Joseph, Michael, Declan and Paul, daughters Mary, Anne and Caroline, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Family Flowers only. Donations if desired to the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Tom will repose at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84) this Tuesday evening (Aug 26th) from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Removal from Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, on Wednesday morning (Aug 27th) at 10.50am to arrive at St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown, (Eircode R32KT22) for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by interment immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.

Whitefields, Portarlington, Laois/Cloneygowan, Offaly

Formerly of Bogtown, Cloneygowan County Offaly. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.

Sadly missed by her loving sons Aidan and Josh, parents Joe and Maureen, sisters Sinead, Josephine and Fiona, brothers John and Colm, brothers-in-law John and Mark, sister-in-law Siobhan, the boy’s father Declan, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, neighbours and her many close friends.

Reposing at her sister Josephine’s residence Bogtown, Cloneygowan (eircode R35 KV76) on Tuesday evening from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10:20am arriving St Mary’s Church Raheen for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Liam Loughnane
Rathnamanagh, Portlaoise, Laois/Galway City, Galway

It is with heavy hearts that the Loughnane family announce the sudden passing of Liam Loughnane on Friday 22nd August 2025.

Son of recently deceased Eileen. Beloved son of Gerard and treasured brother to Jamie and Mary Rose. Dearly loved by his girlfriend Ruth Gallagher, nephew Cillian, Sister in Law Rachel, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.

Sadly missed by his fellow colleagues and patients in the Wellstone Clinic.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Monday evening from 6.30pm until 8pm with rosary at 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 11am Requiem Mass on Tuesday. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
