Electric Picnic 2026 has fully sold out almost a year in advance of the actual festival.
Tickets went on sale for the next edition of the music event at Stradbally Hall and were snapped up in less than an hour.
The capacity of 80,000 remained unchanged from last week’s event and fans lapped them up.
A statement said: “Tickets for Electric Picnic 2026 went on sale this morning at 9am and have now sold out
“Last weekend 80,000 Picnickers traversed the 600 acres of Stradbally Estate enjoying everything Ireland’s biggest music and arts festival has to offer, from music to comedy, spoken word to ballet and the truly wonderful Freetown where there is a surprise on every corner.
“Today tickets for Electric Picnic 2026 went on sale at 9am and are now sold out, through the festival’s loyalty scheme and general on-sale!
“We can’t wait to welcome you next year – we’re already making sure it will be the best festival yet!”
The incredible popularity of the festival at Stradbally Hall is proven once again by the fact that all of the tickets are sold without a single act being named.
Family Camping tickets sold out within 40 minutes with the rest of the tickets going shortly after.
Speaking over the weekend, Festival Director Melvin Benn revealed that headline performers have been signed up for two of the three nights of next year’s festival.
Benn also said he is planning on putting on more entertainment for festival-goers who arrive early on the Thursday.
“I’ll certainly put more into the Thursday evenings entertainment next year,” said Benn.
“Not with the opening of the main stages or anything like that, but there will be one or two more stages open on the Thursday evening next year for definite.”
The 2025 edition saw acts like Hozier, Chappel Roan, Sam Fender, Fat Boy Slim, Kings of Leon and Becky Hill headline the main stage.
There were plenty of local acts too as The Timahoe Male Choir became the first group from Laois to ever perform on the Main Stage.
While the Stradbally Community Choir made their debut on the Hazelwood stage also.
The 2026 Electric Picnic is scheduled from August 28-30 of 2026.
