Location: Portarlington – Office Based
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.
This role is essential in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations of our haulage business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Xero accounting software for daily bookkeeping tasks
- Upload purchase invoices and expense receipts into Xero
- Prepare and issue sales invoices to clients
- Perform bank and statement reconciliations
- Generate and maintain weight reports relevant to haulage operations
- Liaise with suppliers to request or follow up on missing invoices
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- Experience with Xero accounting software is an advantage but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in the transport or logistics sector is an advantage but not essential
Working Hours:
- 18 to 20 hours per week, with some flexibility around days and times
