Greenfeet Lawncare are seeking a skilled and motivated Robotic Mower Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of robotic lawn mowers for residential and commercial clients.
You will also provide customer support and ensure all robotic systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure robotic mowing systems, including boundary wires and docking stations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on robotic mowers (software updates, battery replacement, blade changes, etc.).
- Diagnose technical issues and perform troubleshooting both on-site and remotely.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation setup.
- Educate customers on operation, care, and maintenance of their robotic mower.
- Keep detailed records of service visits, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest models, firmware, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Technical or mechanical background (electrical, robotics, small engine repair, or similar).
- Experience with robotic systems, GPS-based equipment, or automated outdoor machinery is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for on-site visits.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with any brand.
- Basic understanding of landscaping or turf management.
- Familiarity with mobile apps and digital tools for robotic mower configuration.
