Peacefully in his 92nd year surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Julia, sisters Mollie and Josie. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Nellie, daughter Patricia, son Joe, daughter-in-law Michelle , Patricia’s partner Michael, adoring grandchildren Joseph and Shàuna, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium for Committal Service at 1:45pm.

Suzanne Conroy (née Garrett)

The death has occurred of Suzanne Conroy (nee Garrett) Reary, Rosenallis, Co Laois and formerly of Naas, Co. Kildare – October 6, 2025, in the wonderful care of the Doctors and Nurses at Tullamore Regional Hospital and the Mater Hospital. Following a battle bravely fought by Suzanne, she passed peacefully surrounded by her loving children Lauren, Rian, Fionn, Gabriel, Christian and Grace, her parents Mona & Des and her sister Deirdre and her close friends.
Pre-deceased by her grandmother and grandfather Kitty and Jimmy, Uncle Michael, Cousin Denise.
Sadly missed by her brother-in-law Brian, nieces Clodagh & Zoe, nephew Darragh, uncles & aunts, relatives and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Clonaslee Heritage Centre, Clonaslee, Co Laois (R32EH3F) on Thursday from 5pm – 7pm, with evening prayers at 7pm. Requiem mass at Church of Our Lady and St David, Sallins Rd, Naas, Co Kildare at 10am on Friday morning followed by burial in St Corbyn’s Cemetery, Naas.

Passed away suddenly at his home on the 5th October 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife Betty who passed away on 23rd June 2025.
Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his son Keith, Keith’s wife Amanda, grandchildren Zara, Mia, Emily and Callum, sisters Margaret and Mary, brother Michael, sister-in-law Tricia, brother-in-law Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Deady Bergin Caroline (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada and formerly of High Street, Tralee, Co. Kerry) died peacefully in Canada on 24th August 2025. Daughter of the late Maureen and Denis Deady.
A Ceremony to celebrate Caroline’s life will be held at Rath Cemetery Prayer Centre Ballinorig Side, Tralee, Co. Kerry on Saturday 11th October at 3:45pm. Caroline’s ashes will be laid to rest in her parents’ grave and immediately after, we will bid Caroline a final farewell in Fenit.

Griffin, (née McDonnell) Breda, (Terenure and late of Shanahoe, Co.Laois), 6th October 2025; peacefully at home, with her daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Pádraig by her side. Predeceased by her husband Charlie and baby daughter Maria. Forever loved and sadly missed by her daughter Elizabeth, son-in- law Pádraig, sisters Anne (O’Byrne), Kathleen (Lawler), Mary (Dunne), Cepta (Bronisz) and brother Walter McDonnell, brother-in-law Larry, nieces, nephews, neighbours and her wonderful friends.

Carmel Cooper (née Walsh)

The Death has occurred of Carmel Cooper (née Walsh) late of Walkinstown Dublin 12.
Who died peacefully in her 95th year on the 4th of October 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff at Marymount Care Centre, Westmanstown, Lucan Co. Dublin. Beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy) Cooper and dear mother of Robert and Marita, grandmother to Stephen and Emma.
Carmel will be very sadly missed by her loving family, friends and particularly her many loyal friends from St Agnes Church Crumlin who were a great support to Carmel during her final years.
The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the marvellous staff at Marymount Care centre where Carmel was so happy and well cared for her last number of years.

Bridget (Bridie) Duggan (nèe Guilfoyle), late of Craggs, Barrigone, Askeaton, Co. Limerick.
Passed away on 4th October after a short illness in University Hospital Limerick at the age of 83 years.
Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Survived by her loving family, husband Chris, son Christopher, daughter Bridget, grandchildren Rebecca, Melissa, Noreen, Louise and Maurice, great grandchildren Lucy & Seàn, relatives and friends.

Pre deceased by her Mam Eileen and Dad Larry. Mary passed away peacefully, aged 70, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the Muiríosa Foundation.
Mary was a cherished sister, a devoted aunt, and a wonderful friend whose warmth touched every heart she met.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Tom and Laurence, sisters Ruth and Eileen, brother in law, sisters in law, partner, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives and friends, especially her dear housemates in Cottage 1.
