Patrick (Paddy) Feehan, Johnstown Glebe, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois, peacefully on October 19th. 2025, in the excellent care and love of the nurses and carers of Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford with his beloved wife Mary-Jane and son-in-law Matt by his side. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary, his two infant daughters, grandson Jason, brothers Ned, Billy, John and Francis, sisters Dilly, Nancy, Vera, Bee and Dorothy.
Husband of his much loved wife Mary-Jane (nee Harrington) , much loved father of his son Michael daughter-in-law Paula (Portlaoise), daughter Noreen and son-in-law Matt Bergin (Kilbreedy), daughter Mary (Athlone), cherished popa of his grandchildren Stuart, Emma, Padraig, Mairead, Nicola, Jack, Josh-Patrick, Leah-Nora, his 10 cherished great grandchildren, his loving sister Carolyn and brother-in-law Seamus (Portaferry), brother-in-law John Harrington (Charlestown), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Wednesday morning October 22nd. 2025, from 10.30 followed by removal to Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.

EGAN-LANGLEY – Nives (late of Mayfield House, Laois and formerly of Clone House, Wicklow), On 18th October, elegantly and peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, with songs, poems and stories in a room full of love.
Predeceased by her darling husband Brian and their infant son Blaise. She will be so sadly missed by her heartbroken children, Tara, Alexandra, Jamie, Cory, Miranda, Cassandra and her son Maurice, sons-in-law Jamie T, Eoin, Rob and Rory, adored siblings Colette, Gemma and William, brother-in-law Sebastian, sister-in- law Ann, cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Fanagans Nichols Funeral Home, Lombard Street East (D02 W207) on Tuesday (October 21) from 4pm to 6pm – you are welcome to join us. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (October 22) at 10 am in Church of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Formerly Graigue Mountmellick and late of Walsh Island County Offaly. Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her father Gerry, mother Annie, brother John, infant son Anthony and never forgotten grandchild William.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband Jack, family Noeleen, Geraldine, Olive, John, Damien and Rory a son in all but name, brother Gerard, her adoring grandchildren David and his fiance Regina, Shauna, Sarah, Holly, Jack, Ella, Adam, Oisin and Abbie, her great-grandchildren Saoirse, Aoibheann, Charlie and Fionn, sons-in-law Liam and Brian, daughters-in-law Ann Marie and Deirdre, Olive’s partner Joe, her foster son Stephen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Monday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal from her residence on Tuesday morning at 9:15am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Joseph’s Cemetery Mountmellick (travelling via her residence).

Jimmy Murphy of Monavea, Crettyard, Carlow, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 19th, 2025.
Beloved husband of Ann, much loved father of Pat, Tom, Mike, Jim, Mary, Frank, Jacko and adored grandfather to all his grandchildren.
Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Tommy, he will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughter, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 3pm on Monday October 20th and 3pm on Tuesday October 21st concluding with prayers at 7pm each evening.
Removal from his residence on Wednesday morning October 22nd at 11:30am to St. Mary’s Church, Mayo, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. House strictly private on Wednesday morning please. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Enda. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Sadie. Enda will be deeply regretted by his adoring wife Nicola, his beloved children Michael and Emily, brothers Joe and Paul, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and work colleagues in SDS.
Reposing at his family home (R32PY74) on Sunday from 1pm until 8pm. Rosary recital at 7pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Paul’s church, Portlaoise for 12 noon mass on Monday. Internment will take place afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery, Portlaoise.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday 16th of October at The Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise with his loving son Charles by his side.
Predeceased by his wife Enda Sulvia Stanley.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick (R32 PC95) on Wednesday from 12 noon. Removal at 1.45pm to Acragar Cemetery arriving for prayer service at 2pm followed by burial.

Bernard Maloney, Parnell Crescent, Portlaoise Co.Laois and formally Clonan, Roscrea Co.Tipperary. Died October 16th 2025 peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Liz, daughter Caroline, sons John Paul and Mark. Stepchildren Rena, Ian and the late Linda. Brothers, Matt, Ger, Noel, Brendan, Aidan, Kevin and David, sisters, Maura, Trisa and Aileen. Brother-in-law, sisters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s funeral home on Monday, October 20 from 6:30pm until 8pm with prayers at 7:30pm. Requiem mass will take place at 11 am on Tuesday in SS Peter and Paul Church Portlaoise, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery Portlaoise.

Ann is predeceased by her parents Dan and Nancy. Cherished Nanny to her six grandchildren Dylan, Kailum, Maya, Michael, Teagan and Khloe, her daughter-in-law, her children’s partners, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, her extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass on Monday 20th October 2025 in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co Laois (R32 CK11) at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

BREEN (née Dunne) (Ballybrack, Co Dublin and late of Mountmellick, Co Laois) October 16, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of all the staff in Annabeg Nursing Home, Ballybrack, Mary Elizabeth (Betty), beloved wife of the late Cornelius (Neil), loving mother of Stephanie and the late Amanda; Sadly missed by her daughter, son-in-law, adored grandchildren Neil, Sofia, Michael and Theo, her extended family and friends.
