Famed Laois GAA programme collector hosting Memorabilia Fair this Bank Holiday Monday

Any GAA enthusiasts at a loose end this coming Bank Holiday Monday could do worse than check out a GAA Programme and Memorabilia Fair which is being held in Maynooth in Kildare.

The event is hosted by Portlaoise man Keith Heffernan, a renowned collector of GAA programmes, and will also have hundreds of rare jerseys and gear, including a selection of retro and player-worn items.

Though now based deep in Kildare GAA territory and involved with the Kildare camogie management in 2026, Keith is a proud Portlaoise and Laois supporter who keeps a close eye on events in his home county.

The event takes place in the Maynooth GAA clubhouse on Monday from 12noon to 3pm. Entry is €3.

With over 20 sellers this is a chance “to buy and swap match programmes, GAA related books, posters and other unique memorabilia”.

On the gear side of things there will be “100s of GAA jerseys, drill tops, training tees and polos, including player-worn and signed shirts available only on the day”.

All proceeds go to Maynooth camogie.

For more information you can get in touch with Keith on 086 8397890 or by emailing kheffernan75@icloud.com.
