PPN delegates from across the Midlands Region received a warm welcome to Laois at the stunning Castle Durrow for the latest Midlands Regional Public Participation Network (MRPPN) meeting, at the Autum Quarterly Meeting hosted by Laois PPN.
A Public Participation Network (PPN) is a network that allows local authorities to connect with community groups around the country.
The MRPPN brings together representatives from Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Kildare, Meath, and Longford PPNs.
This regional collaboration provides a valuable opportunity for PPNs to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and work collectively to support community groups across their region.
Dan Bergin, Laois PPN Co-Ordinator, said: “It was lovely to welcome our friends and colleagues from the MRPPN to County Laois in the beautiful setting of Castle Durrow.
“A fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, best practice, and expertise.”
Laois PPN represents over 700+ member groups across the Community, Social Inclusion, and Environmental pillars. All registered groups are invited to participate in Laois PPN events and initiatives.
