And in Meaney Plant Hire’s depot in Athy on Saturday, the new sponsor of Laois Ladies football team for 2026 was officially unveiled.
Following the natural end of the Killeshin Hotel’s sponsorship, Meaney Plant Hire, owned by former Laois footballer Kevin Meaney, have come on board as the main jersey sponsor for the next three years.

As well as Meaney Plant Hire, the sleeve sponsor is the Forest Fest concert, which is based in Emo.
A selection of county players as well as senior manager Stephen Duff and county board chairperson Martina Phelan were also in attendance for the official launch of the new sponsor which was a good-humoured event with a selection of photo opportunities with the various hire machinery.
