Foróige Old Bank Youth Centre in Portlaoise is set to host an Open Night later this month.
On Friday, November 21, the doors will be open from 6pm to 8pm where Youth Workers will be available to meet with members of the public.
The initiative is taking place as part of Oiche na hOige and the aim of to show people what Foroige is all about.
A spokesperson explained how everyone is welcome to attend.
They said: “One night. Every corner of Ireland. Youth Night 2025 is coming November 21.
“Foróige young people throwing open the doors and showing what youth work ‘feels’ like – the noise, the colour, the confidence, the chaos, the craic.
“This is our night to say ‘this is youth work’.
“It’s energy. It’s belonging. It’s young people leading the way.
“It’s happening nationwide on November 21 and powered by the Department of Education and Youth with Education & Training Boards Ireland, Youth Night 2025 is a national celebration of everything young people make possible.
