The Heath is set to come alive with community spirit and the steady hum of engines for the upcoming Annual Tractor Run in aid of The Heath National School on Sunday, 14, December.
This much-anticipated event, which brings The Heath community together including local farmers, and supporters from near and far, promises a fun-filled day while raising vital funds for the school.
With its blend of tradition, goodwill, and rural pride, the annual Tractor Run is a highlight on the local calendar — and a powerful reminder of what a united community can achieve.
As well as the junior run for kids, the event is expanding this year as they are opening registration up for trucks as well as tractors.
And that’s not all for the exciting event, this year there will be a Christmas market in the hall beside The Heath Church with lots of stalls and lots on offer.
Speaking about the event Carmel Keane of the The Heath NS Parents council said: “Our much-loved Annual Tractor Run is fast approaching and this year we are welcoming Trucks to join in the fun — taking place on Sunday, 14, December, with the action for the junior run kicking off at half 4 with the main run at 5pm with registration taking place between 4pm-4:45pm in the Hall
“And don’t forget… this year we’re also hosting our very first Christmas Market in The Heath Hall (beside the church), happening on the same day from 2-6pm
“We’d love for everyone to come along, support local crafts, pick up some festive goodies, and soak up the Christmas spirit at this special community event.
“It promises to be a fantastic family day out — tractors, holiday cheer, and plenty of festive fun for all ages.”
