Madeleine (Madge) O’Grady (née Farrell)

The death has occurred of Madeleine (Madge) O’ Grady (nee Farrell) of Birmingham, England and formerly Johnsgrove, Rosenallis, Co. Laois on 26th November 2025.
Madeleine passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff of Roxton Nursing Home, Birmingham. She will be forever missed by her loving daughters Sharon and Angela, her son Martin, her adoring grandchildren David, Connor, Georgia and Amy, sisters and brothers, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and her very many friends. Predeceased by her beloved husband and soulmate Jim.
Madeleine’s Funeral will take place on Monday 22nd December at 12pm at the Erdington Abbey, 10 Sutton Road, B23 6QL, Birmingham. The mass will be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person at www.erdingtonabbey.co.uk
Burial afterwards at Oscott College Cemetery, B23 5LF will be private for close family.
We kindly ask that no flowers are sent.

Anne Farrell (née Lowry)
Cullenagh View, Patrick Street, Mountrath, Laois
Formerly of Clogrenan Ballinabranna County Laois. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Mattie, family Ailish, Michael, Matthew, Aine and Catriona, brothers Jimmy and Murt, sister Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence (eircode R32 TF72) on Saturday evening from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Sunday morning arriving St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Funeral afterwards to St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Frank O’Sullivan
Wolf Tone Court, Mountmellick, Laois/Geashill, Offaly
Frank O’Sullivan Wolfe Tone Court, Mountmellick and Formerly Roskeen, Kilcavan, Geashill Co.Offaly died unexpectedly at home December 11th 2025.
Predeceased by his loving parents Patrick and Rose and his dear brother Pat and sister-in-law Lina
Deeply regretted by his loving sister Mary (U.K.) brothers Thady and his partner Marie (Dublin) and Ray (Kilteale Stradbally)nieces nephews cousins neighbours relatives and his many friends.
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home on Friday from 7pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8.30pm.
Removal from Moloney’s on Saturday morning at 10.45am to St.Joseph’s Church Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in the family grave in Castlebrack Cemetery.
Michael Lehane
Kilmacud, Dublin/Laois
Formerly of Killenard Co. Laois, Castleknock and Bank of Ireland Finglas. Michael died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the care of the doctors and nurses at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Sadly missed by his wife Sue, his children Joe, Orla, John, Jim, Gary, Brian, Liz and in-laws Fiona, Stefano, Therese, Ena, Rita, Deborah and Derek and all eighteen of his grandchildren, his nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his siblings Angela, Kay, Lil, Joey, Vera, and Augusta.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Friday evening (12th of December) from 5pm-7.30pm.
Complimentary car parking is available at the old Dundrum Shopping Centre (Lidl) car park – entrance on Dundrum Village Main Street (not Dundrum Town Centre Car Park). Tickets to exit car park, free of charge, available on request at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum.
Removal on Saturday morning (13th December) to the church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, Stillorgan

Nuala Harris (née Maher)
Templeogue, Dublin/Portarlington, Laois
HARRIS, Nuala (née Maher) 9th December 2025 (Portarlington, Co. Laois and late of Woodbrook Park, Templeogue, Dublin). Peacefully in the company of her loving family in the care of the nurses and staff in Oakdale nursing home in Portarlington, Co. Laois. Predeceased by her loving husband Aylmer and sons Colum and Brian. Sadly missed by her children Kevin, Sinead, and Deirdre, her beloved grandchildren Gregory, Laura, Jessica, Chris, Steven and Éibhinn, daughter-in-law Breffeney, sons-in-law Paul and Kevin, her sister Rose, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Nuala will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham, on Sunday from 3.00 pm. until 5.00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place in the church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan at 10am on Monday 15 December followed by burial at Bohernabreena Cemetery. Sean Ryan
Palmerstown, Dublin/Durrow, Laois
Ryan, Sean – 9th of December 2025, (Palmerstown and formerly of Durrow, Co Laois), (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Annie and Richard (Dick), brother Bill, sister Nuala and great granddaughter Poppy.
Sean will be very sadly missed by his beloved wife Sheila, daughters Carole, Orla, Nicola and son John, sons-in-law David, Brian and Robert, daughter-in-law Aisling, his adored grandchildren Andrew, Emily, Niamh, Rían, Hannah, Conor, Cian and Kate, great grandchildren Rio and Ryan, sisters Bride and Phyllis, extended family, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Sean will be reposing at his residence on Friday the 12th of December from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.
