Mountrath Community School held its annual Christmas Carol Service, bringing students, staff, and families together to celebrate the festive season in a warm and uplifting atmosphere.
The event showcased the remarkable talent and dedication of the school community, creating an afternoon filled with music, reflection, and Christmas spirit.
A special word of thanks goes to the Music Department and Religious Education Department, whose hard work and preparation were central to the success of the service.
Their collaboration ensured a seamless and meaningful event for all who attended.
The programme featured performances from the school choirs, a number of soloists, and the trad music group, each adding their own unique contribution to the occasion.
The inclusion of Irish Sign Language brought an extra layer of inclusivity and beauty to the service, allowing the message of Christmas to be expressed in multiple forms.
Thoughtful and meaningful prayers were offered throughout the evening, encouraging reflection and reinforcing the true spirit of the season.
The Christmas Carol Service was a wonderful celebration of community, talent, and faith,one that will be fondly remembered as the school looks forward to the holidays ahead.
Separately, the TY Christmas Market was a great success, showcasing the creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial skills of the Transition Year students.
