Laois Ladies football experienced an incredibly busy 2025 season at club and county level and that was reflected in particularly glitzy celebration in the Midlands Park Hotel on Saturday night.
As well as reached the Leinster and All Ireland intermediate finals – albeit coming up short in both – Laois were also crowned Leinster minor ‘B’ champions with a very impressive young side.
Both of those teams were feted and presented with their relevant medals.
And for the second year running, there was also a Team of the Year presentation from each of Laois’s main adult club championships – senior, intermediate and junior.
As well as that, there was a selection of club and county player of the year awards handed out.
In a brilliantly-organised event by the Laois LGFA officials, MC for the occasion was Jack Nolan.
Laois LGFA chairperson Martina Phelan welcomed those in attendance and said that the game in the county is in a very healthy position with an exciting future to look forward to.
Senior manager Stephen Duff and minor manager Adrian Slevin both also spoke on the night as they looked back on their 2025 campaigns and ahead to next year, with both managers in the roles again and already planning the way forward.
