Died 4th July, peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Sadly missed by his loving wife Debbie and children Solveig,Ingrid,Tara,Benjamin,Fintan and Heather. At Rest. Service in the People’s Church 67A Pearse Street, Dublin on Saturday morning at 10.30. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium for Service at 12.30. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the ICU Portlaoise Hospital.
Freda Fennelly (née McLoughlin)
Bawn House, Stradbally, Laois
Freda Fennelly (nee) Mc Loughlin, Bawn House, Stradbally and formerly Jamestown House, Jamestown, Ballybrittas, Co. Laois passed away peacefully in Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally in her 92nd year surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael. Sadly missed by her sons John and Michael. Her sister Bab Mc Loughlin, daughter-in-laws Nuala and Mary. Loving grandmother to Johnny, Orla, Jack, David and Kevin. Freda’s sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her son Michael’s residence, Bawn House, Stradbally at 5 o clock (Wednesday) with recital of The Rosary at 9 o clock. Reposing at 12 noon on Thursday until 5 o clock, with family time thereafter. Removal Thursday evening at 6.45 to the Church of the Assumption, Vicarstown for 7.30 Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by Interment in Moyanna Cemetery

Died 4th July, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of ballard lodge nursing home,Portlaoise. Loving husband of the late Claire. Sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Reposing at his residence on Wednesday evening from 6 o’clock with rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Thursday at 12.30 arriving at St Joseph’s Church Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 1 o’clock. Funeral afterwards to St Joseph’s cemetery. Family flowers only please. House private on Thursday morning please.

Thomas (Tommy) Lewis, Morette, Emo, Portlaoise. Died July 4th 2017 at his residence. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and his brothers Michael, John and Paddy. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Margaret Malone (Enniscorthy), brothers, Bertie (Tullamore), Jimmy (New Inn Cross, Emo), Phil (The Heath, Portlaoise), Joe (Monasterevin), Wally (Ballybrittas), sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. Removal on Wednesday evening at 6.50pm, arriving at St. Paul’s Church, Emo, at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon and burial immediately afterwards in the burial grounds of Church of the Assumption, The Heath.

Bernard Thompson, Ard Erin, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 2nd July 2017.Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath, this Monday evening from 8.30pm, with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to St. Fintan’s Church Ballyfin, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin.
Margaret Tierney (née Phelan)

In St James’s Hospital, Dublin. Wife of the late Paddy-Joe. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Sean and Patrick, daughters Mary and Monica, son-in-law Jamie, daughter-in-law Marianne, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Removal from her residence this Wednesday evening at 7pm to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, arriving 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Raheen.

Carmen Guther, The Hermitage, Portlaoise, 1st July 2017. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Anda Racz and son Rudo Racz, grandchildren Hann and Hannah. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Guther. Sadly missed by all her family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5pm until 6pm. Cremation will take place on Tuesday morning in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 11am.
