Meaney Plant and Civil are currently looking for the following person to join our existing team:
Setting-Out Engineer
Job Locations: Laois, Carlow, Kildare and Dublin areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting Out – groundworks and structural – Use of GPS, total station and automatic levels
- Co-ordinating site drawings
- Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractor.
- Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFIs and resolve technical issues
- Record keeping and reporting
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site
Specific Requirements
- Relevant Third Level degree
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Previous main contractor experience
- Familiar with Irish water regulations
- Previous experience on Civil Engineering projects (highway, drainage, earthworks etc)
- Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential
- Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works and Microsoft
