In Pictures: Serious style in the Manor Hotel as Clough-Ballacolla celebrate incredible 2022 season

There was serious style in the Manor Hotel in Abbeyleix over the weekend as Clough-Ballacolla celebrated an incredible 2022.

The year is one that will never be forgotten by everyone in the hurling club as they won three championships.

Their Seniors made history by claiming three titles in a row – defeating rivals Camross in the final.

While their Intermediate side also claimed glory to make the jump up to the second grade.

They got the better of Mountmellick in the Intermediate final meaning Clough-Ballacolla will have teams in the top two grades of Laois hurling this year.

While the minors also enjoyed success as they won the A championship in memorable fashion.

With the last puck of the game, Gary Whelan scored while on his knees to defeat The Harps.

All three teams and their families came together to celebrate on Saturday.

There was music from Martin Delaney, a presentation of medals and then everyone danced the night away with music from DJ Noel Brennan.

Photographer Alf Harvey was present at the celebrations at the weekend.
