Gardai are appealing for information following an incident of burglary and dangerous driving.
This occurred in Laois this afternoon and Gardai are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
The occupants of a car committed theft at around 12.27pm this afternoon.
A dark coloured Toyota Auric was then driven dangerously on James Fintan Lalor Avenue.
A spokesperson said: “Portlaoise Gardai are investigating an incident of theft and dangerous driving that occurred today in Portlaoise, May 11.
“A dark coloured Toyota Auris was driven dangerously on James Fintan Lalor Avenue.
“The occupants had committed a theft at approximately 12.27pm
“We are appealing for anybody with dashcam footage of the driving to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.”
