Star studded line-up for tomorrow’s Abbeyleix Durrow Enterprise expo

A host of high profile sporting and business guests have been lined up for the Bank of Ireland Abbeyleix – Durrow Enterprise Town business and community expo tomorrow in Ballinakill.

The ribbon will be cut for the event in Heywood Community School by Minister for Justice & Equality Charlie Flanagan.

Events will have a distinctly local flavour with renowned Spink Comhaltas giving an opening performance at 11.15 am.

This will be followed by a sports panel discussion facilitated by Colm ‘Wooly’ Parkinson.

The event will feature Eddie Brennan, former Kilkenny hurler & RTE analyst; Paul Broderick, Carlow senior footballer; Alison Miller, Irish rugby player.

Networking and entertainment will follow along with an opportunity to meet exhibitors showcasing their businesses.

Music will be performed by Heywood Community School at 12.40 pm.

Bizworld Presentations – presented by Bank of Ireland will follow at 1 pm.

More entertainment will follow after that with a performance by Lynam School of Dance.

At 1:45 pm it’s back to business again with business panel discussion facilitated by Bobby Kerr, Irish entrepreneur and businessman.

The panel will feature: Ruth Bergin, Ellen McWey & Arianna Mazzepelle – Sensory Blankets; Jenny Kent – Proprietor, Abbeyleix Manor Hotel; Seosamh Murphy – Proprietor, Castle Arms Hotel Durrow; Networking opportunity with Bobby Kerr – Let’s Connect!

A colouring competition presentation will follow at 2.20 pm.

Proceedings will be brought to a close at 2.30 pm by Jason Ryan and Karen Flanagan Branch Managers, Bank Of Ireland.
